In the heart of Garos hills, deep inside the untamed wilderness of Durama Hills, an enchanting tale unfolds. Amidst the whispering leaves and the secrets of the ancient woods, lived a creature of both wonder and grace—a beautiful fairy who served as the guardian of the Forest.
In her sylvan sanctuary, a particular tree cradled her ethereal form, a sentinel of nature's delicate balance. When the world retreated into hushed silence, she would release her voice into the air, a melody that transcended the earthly realm. The creatures of the forest would gather, drawn by the celestial harmonies that wafted through the trees. Birds would flutter, and creatures great and small would pause in reverence, as her song carried their hearts away on its currents.
Yet, as life often does, it led an unexpected soul to her presence one day. Nimrim, a Garo Warrior, ventured into the woods to hunt for a deer. Fate, however, had more intricate threads to weave. Instead of the rustling of leaves and the sound of his pursuit, his ears were graced by a song—so pure and resonant that it seemed to sing to his very soul.
Guided by the melody's enchantment, Nimrim followed its siren call until he stood witness to a sight that would linger forever in his memory. There she was, the forest's elusive guardian, singing among the leaves. He watched, captivated by her ethereal beauty and the celestial tones that spilled from her lips. But as he neared, she withdrew, a mirage fading into the embrace of the forest.
Undeterred, Nimrim spoke with a sincerity that carried through the rustling leaves, "Mystic guardian, your song has stirred my very being. Will you not grace me with your presence, that we may share a moment of understanding?"
From the hidden recesses of leaves, her voice emerged like a whisper on the wind. "Valiant warrior, my songs are but echoes of the forest's heart. Why seek me?"
With an honesty that came from deep within, Nimrim replied, "In your song, I hear the pulse of this land—the rhythm that binds us all. I yearn to know the guardian behind the melody, to connect with the very essence that breathes life into the woods." But the fairy refused to descend from her sanctuary amongst the tree top.
In your song, I hear the pulse of this land—the rhythm that binds us all. I yearn to know the guardian behind the melody, to connect with the very essence that breathes life into the woods.
Nimrim's kept insisting the fairy to descend from her sanctuary and show her graceful face. But everytime, she refuses his request. His yearning, once gentle, gave way to frustration as the guardian remained hidden. A determination ignited within him, fueled by a desire to possess what was beyond his grasp. And so, armed with an axe, he returned to the woods the next day, his intention clear: he would sever the very ties that bound the fairy to her refuge.
For seven days and seven nights, he chopped down the trees, as the guardian flitted from one sanctuary to another. Trees surrendered to the relentless blade, and the once-lush realm turned barren. As her haven crumbled, the guardian was forced to descend, surrendering her realm to a world that did not understand her purpose.
He captured her as she descended into the ground, and dragged her into the village triumphantly. However, his triumph was short lived. The moment she reached the human realm, she was ill and within a week, she was succumb to her ailment.
Her last breath seemed to summon the earth's sorrow, and the forest shivered, shedding tears that poisoned the rivers. The delicate equilibrium that once thrived between humanity and the wild was shattered. Hogs and elephants, driven by hunger, turned to the village for sustenance, a haunting echo of the imbalance they had wrought.
Years passed, and the forest began its slow reclamation of its dominion. Trees surged forth, rivers cleansed themselves, and life returned to the barren landscape. But the villagers, in their shortsightedness, forgot the lessons of their history. Axes once again swung, felling the guardians of the land.
And so, like whispers carried by the breeze, the guardian's legacy resounded—a caution against arrogance, a plea for respect. "Do not tread the path of the past," the wind seemed to sigh. "The dance of nature is fragile, a harmony that demands reverence. Just as you suffered when the guardian fell, so too will your world crumble if you do not remember the lessons of the past."

The guardian's voice became the forest's chorus, a reminder etched into the fabric of existence. A tale of respect and consequence, of the eternal dance between humanity and nature—a dance that, if disrupted, can lead to the desolation of both worlds. And so, as the wind carries the echoes of her song, humanity stands at a crossroads, poised to choose whether to heed her warning or to repeat the mistakes of the past.
